How does Choices for Children and Family approach treatment?

Currently, there are many challenges to providing behavioral health care in rural America. At Choices for Children and Family , our involvement in the communities we serve is at the heart of our mission. We see these challenges and barriers and are developing innovative programs and care delivery models to offer services to those with behavioral health issues. Our team of providers aims to disseminate education, information, and care to those in need in the communities we serve. We accept most major insurances and offer a self – pay program.

PEDIATRIC SERVICES

Many behavioral health issues have their beginnings in childhood or adolescence. The National Health and Nutritional Examination Survey found that 20 percent of children ages 8 to 15 had at least one behavioral health issue, a rate that is comparable to diabetes, asthma, and other diseases of childhood. Yet, mental and behavioral health issues can often go undiagnosed and untreated for years.

Choices for Children and Family helps families find effective treatment solutions for children and adolescents struggling with:

  • Anxiety
  • Declining Academic Performance
  • ADHD
  • Bullying
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • OCD
  • Emotional/Social/Behavioral Difficulties
  • Anger Management Issues/Physical or Verbal Striking Out
  • Negativity
  • Concentration issues
  • Self-Esteem

Is it accurate to say that you are prepared to go up against hindrances that keep you from turning out to be who you want in everyday life? All things considered; I am here to help you in beating those difficulties in which you face every day.

Allow me to help assist you. I have over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I have worked with the incarcerated population including those on death row. I also have experience working with adolescence and the youth. Couples counseling is also a passion of mine. I believe in the family and working with couples to effectively communicate. I have the tools but you must be willing to the work. Are you really ready to the work?
